Eliana is sick, poor baby has been sick since Thursday. I took her to the Dr. on Monday only to find out she has the flu and there isn't much we can do about it. So I've been doing a lot of holding and cuddling. She is so sweet and easy to care for. She rubs my face and says, "Sweet Mommy..." as I hold her. I would hold her all day for that!
Otherwise life has pretty much been full of schooling the children, laundry, house work, laundry, trying to figure out my new phone, laundry, ironing, laundry, do you get the picture?
I bought Eliana her own ice skates. She loves them! She is so sad that she is sick and can't go skating. She tries to look perky and says, "I'm not sick, I can skate!"
I'm taking a class on photo editing which I am so excited about! Nancy is such a fantabulous photographer and teacher that I'm pretty sure it is going to be very helpful.
We are discussing curriculum options for next year. I just love that I know my children's learning styles so much better after homeschooling this year! I feel like we can make a much more educated decision for each child as an individual than we could last year.
I started Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons with Annika today. I have heard such good things about it and I'm excited about working through it with her!
I'm reading a book that I'm anxious to tell you all about. I'm going to post about it when I'm finished reading it. It is a very powerful story of redemption! But I'll tell you more later...
And now you must excuse me. I need to go fold laundry.
