Christmas at the Martins 2012

We had a beautiful day yesterday.  We woke up to beautiful snow clinging to everything.  It was amazing!  But you will have to take my word for it because I was too busy enjoying my sweet family to take pictures.

We allowed the children to open a gift each on Monday.  Here are a few pictures from both days.

We had dear friends here yesterday.  We enjoyed visiting and shared a special devotional time together.

We fried a turkey which is always fun!  We ate good food and played games and visited.  It was low-key,except for when we were dodging Casper's Thunder Tumbler and the moment of panic when it seemed the new electric turkey fryer was not going to work, and it was another day full of family traditions that we will all remember.
